Calvin Harris

Medical Student Researcher

Calvin Harris is a 3rd year medical student in the Class of 2027 at Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine. In the Collins Lab, he is studying longitudinal effects of interindividual healing capacity of bone following lumbar interbody fusion using 3D bone organoids. His work seeks to identify mechanoregulative biomarkers of pseudarthrosis to ultimately serve as a predictive model of per patient bone healing. Outside of lab and studying medicine, he enjoys volunteering, weightlifting, and playing sports.
